At JASL/JATS, learning and development is a key human resource strategy. This is why we tailor our training programmes to individual airline's products and brands. All our trainers have achieved industry accreditations and are experts in their field.

Learning and Development in a Snapshot:

• Our staff are well-trained and there is a good mix of nationalities and a broad range of language capabilities.
• We offer basic skills courses in passenger and customer services, airline products, airline Departure Control System (DCS), weight and balance, aircraft dispatch, dangerous goods, ramp safety, loading procedures and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) operations.
• We believe that our staff development programmes which include Supervisor Development Programme, Management Development Programme, SEED Programme and language courses can help our staff in their career path.
• We sponsor appropriate self-enhancement opportunities to suitable staff who have enrolled and completed external training programmes relevant to their posts.
• Our comprehensive training is designed and conducted by professional trainers.

Apart from our in-house programmes, we also provide training support to all our associated companies and service partners in the region with recognition in the industry.

IATA Accredited Dangerous Goods Training School

JASL runs IATA accredited dangerous goods training courses and programmes not only for its employees; they are also open for public enrolment (past participants included freight forwarders, shippers and airline staffs) on a tuition fee basis.
