We have long been recognized as a Caring Company in recognition of our commitment to caring for community, employees and environment. We are mindful of the environmental impact that our operations make. Together with the commitment made by the Airport Authority, we are among the first few companies at Hong Kong International Airport to adopt electric ground service equipment, solar powered passenger steps, and fuel efficient and low-emission vehicles to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
To further minimize our environmental impact, we have committed to set and achieve decarbonisation targets by signing up the BEC’s Low Carbon Charter, disclose our progress and advocate low carbon practices. We are also part of Hong Kong International Airport’s Carbon Capacity Building Programme and Climate action working group of Jardine Matheson Group.
We are committed to supporting our community by promoting voluntary works in our company. We have an in-house voluntary group WeCare@JASG since 2014 to coordinate voluntary activities to support in need, particularly in mental health area. We also put the safety and wellbeing of our employees first and promote cultural diversity and gender equality.
