HONG KONG – Jardine Aviation Services Group welcomes Tianjin Airlines back to Hong Kong International Airport after nine-year hiatus

On the morning of Saturday, 3rd December, representatives from Jardine Aviation Services Group welcomed the first scheduled Tianjin Airlines flight to land in Hong Kong in over nine years.  An Airbus A320 conducted the flight from Tianjin which took around three hours.

Tianjin Airlines selected Jardine Aviation Services Group as its ground handling partner in Hong Kong.  JASG will provide above- and below-the-wing ground handling services for the carrier’s flights to the city, currently scheduled to operate twice-weekly.

JASG has handled Tianjin Airlines flights in the past, until the carrier discontinued services to the SAR in 2013. The company is proud to have been selected again upon the airline’s resumption of the route.

Tianjin Airlines’ addition of a Hong Kong route comes amid a trend of route and frequency increases between the Chinese mainland and the SAR as air connectivity recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic.

12月3日星期六早上，怡中航空服務集團的代表們迎接了九年來天津航空首次定期航班在香港着陸。這次飛行由一架空客 A320 從天津起飛，飛行時間大約為三個小時。

天津航空選擇怡中航空服務集團作為其在香港的地勤合作夥伴。 JASG 將為天津航空公司飛往香港的航班提供翼上和翼下的地勤服務，目前計劃每周運營兩次。

在2013年天津航空停飛香港之前，怡中航空曾代理過天津航空的航班。JASG 很榮幸能夠再次成為天津航空恢復往返香港航線后的合作夥伴。

隨着航空連接從 COVID-19 疫情中逐步恢復，目前恰逢中國大陸與香港特別行政區之間的航線和飛行頻率呈增加趨勢，天津航空正是在此環境下新增了這條飛往香港的航線。
